The European Commission has reopened its investigation into solar glass imports for China after a request from EU ProSun Glass.
In May the commission announced anti-dumping duties of 42.1% on Chinese manufacturers with some firms that cooperated given lower rates ranging from 17.15 to 39.3%.

According to a filing in the official journal of the European Union on Friday, EU ProSun Glass has shown sufficient evidence that dumping margins extended beyond the level observed in the original investigation and that the positive impact for EU firms has been insufficient.
The EU must act on the results of the latest investigation within nine months.
The request from EU ProSun Glass was lodged on 12 November.
EU ProSun Glass is the industry lobby group spearheaded by glass manfuacturer, Interfloat.
