Gintech’s solar cell sales bounce back in November

Taiwan-based solar cell producer, Gintech Energy, reported a major turnaround in monthly sales for November, having seen a slide since June, due to the US anti-dumping case.

Gintech reported sales in November, 2014 of NT$1,520 million (US$48.7 million), up 68.3% from the previous month when sales were US$29.55 million and down 14.2% from the month of September.

The increase in sales is believed to be due to strong demand in Asia, notably China and Japan, offsetting a significant slowdown in demand from Chinese customers due to the US anti-dumping case.
