Solar3D’s revenue soars on PV installation business growth

PV technology start-up, Solar3D, has reported second quarter revenue of US$7.5 million due to continued growth in small-scale PV installations of its subsidiary Solar United Network (SUNworks), acquired at the beginning of the year.

The revenue growth was around 600% higher than the first quarter of 2014, supporting an operating profit of US$762,000.

SUNworks generated all of the revenue for the first six months of the year, totalling US$9.06 million. The company reported a second quarter net loss of US$223,643 for the second quarter.
