US-based solar installer Greenskies Renewable Energy has reached a US$82 million financing deal with Dutch multinational company Rabobank that will see Greenskies finance more than 60 solar projects in Connecticut and three other states, HartfordBusiness.com reports.
Greenskies, which is headquartered in Middletown, Conn., said that the new deal will help generate a total of 26MW among the 60-plus projects.

While Greenskies would not disclose the locations of the plants that will be financed as part of the financial agreement, the company said that they will be located in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey. No timetable was given on when these plants will be completed.
