Solar farms up and down the UK will throw open their doors to members of the public on 4 July as part of a nationwide event called Solar Independence Day.
Speaking to Solar Power Portal, the organisers behind Solar Independence Day explained why they feel it is necessary to help the wider public understand the true value of solar farms and address a number of recurring myths.
The Solar Trade Association believes that Solar Independence Day will help highlight how crucial stable policy support is for UK solar – a key point in light of proposed changes to RO support.
