Chinese inverter manufacturer, GoodWe, has confirmed that it has obtained G83/2 certification for a wide range of its inverters.

The company is eyeing up a major push into the UK solar market for 2014, with the new certifications allowing the manufacturer to offer products that comply with the new requirements of Engineering Recommendation ahead of other competitors.

GoodWe predicts that there will be a dynamic increase in both small-scale and large-scale solar sectors in the UK during 2014.

The following GoodWe products now have the G83/2 certification: the SS range of inverters (1.5-3.6kW), GW3600D-UK of the DS series, GW4000/5000/6000-DT series inverters, and its GW3648D-ES and GW3648S-ES inverters which also feature energy storage.

In addition to the new certification, the solar inverter manufacturer has announced that it supplied its 17kW three-phase string inverters for the recent PV installation on the National Coal Mining Museum in Yorkshire.
