GlobalData: Investment in UK distributed power generation, PV to significantly drop by 2019

The company’s latest report states that investment, which will fluctuate annually between 2013 and 2015, will begin declining from 2016 until the end of the forecast period, as a result of various anticipated policy amendments. The company shipped solar photovoltaic (PV) modules totaling 943.3 MW during Q2, 2014, compared to 558.0 MW in the first quarter of 2014, an increase of 69.1%. Trina Solar reports an increase of net revenues by 16.8% from the first quarter of 2014 up to USD 519.4 million. Gross profit was USD 80.2 million, a decrease of 12.3% from the first quarter of 2014.
