ReneSola signs framework agreement to sell 200 MW of PV projects and MOU to sell two utility-scale PV plants in Bulgaria to China Seven Star

ReneSola Ltd. (Shanghai) on July 21st, 2014 announced, it has entered a framework agreement with China Seven Star Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong listed company. ReneSola intends to sell of no less than 200 megawatts (MW) of existing and new solar photovoltaic (PV) projects to China Seven Star Holdings within 18 months. The parties subsequently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which stipulates that ReneSola will sell two utility-scale PV projects, both of which are completed and connected to the grid, with a total capacity of 9.7 MW in Bulgaria to China Seven Star. Australia starts new solar PV financing programs totalling AUD 120 million

IBERDROLA completes renewable energy projects in South Africa including Africa’s largest PV plant

IBERDROLA INGENIERÍA has completed the development of its first renewable energies project in South Africa, consisting of the construction of three major facilities: the Noblesfontein and Klipheuwel wind farms and the 96 MW Jasper solar photovoltaic (PV) plant. The two wind farms and the PV plant built by the subsidiary of IBERDROLA in a consortium with South African firm Group Five have a combined capacity of 200 megawatts (MW), enough to supply electricity to some 150,000 South African homes.
