(Changzhou, China) has released results for the fourth quarter of 2013, reporting a 73% year-over-year increase in revenues to USD 526 million, with a 2.7% operating margin and a net income of USD 9.6 million. Martifer Solar (Oliveira de Frades, Portugal) has announced that it is building a portfolio of five solar photovoltaic (PV) plants totaling 78.4 MW in England for Lightsource Renewable Energy (London). Martifer has sold one of the plants, and has entered into an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Lightsource build the other four. Martifer will also supply operations and maintenance (O&M) services for all five, which are located in Cambridgeshire, Devon, Nottingham and Swindon. The volume of solar renewable energy credits (SRECs) traded in India hit a four-month high at 8,308 during February 2014, according to an analysis by RESolve Energy Consultants (Chennai, India). This represents a 31% increase over January 2014 trading volumes. However, supply still far exceeds demand and prices remain at the floor of INR 9300 (USD 150).
