Panasonic, Coronal Group announce development of 26 MW PV plant near Lost Hills, California

Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company (Newark, NJ, US), a division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, and Coronal Group LLC (Pasadena, California, US), on November 24th, 2014 announced development of a 26-megawatt solar photovoltaic (PV) system located near Lost Hills, California. The 200-acre project will generate emission-free solar power that will be sold to Southern California Edison (SCE) under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement and contribute to SCE's fulfillment of California’s Renewable Portfolio Standard requirements. Hanwha Q CELLS launches solar PV kit for industry and commerce in France

The largest European PV provider, Hanwha Q CELLS, on November 28th, 2014 announced to have started selling its 100 kWp Industry & Commerce kit to French PV installers in October 2014. Through the PV kit Hanwha Q CELLS again expands its portfolio as PV solutions provider. "Having already sold the first 100 kWp kits to installers in France, Hanwha Q CELLS has proven its ability to successfully introduce this kind of PV product to the French market," said Philippe Pflieger, Hanwha Q CELLS' Head of Sales France. The sixth Intersolar India, India's largest exhibition and conference for the solar industry, drew to a close on November 20th. 160 international exhibitors from the fields of photovoltaics (PV), PV production technologies, energy storage systems, and solar thermal technologies showcased the entire solar industry value-added chain. Around 9,000 visitors, eleven percent more than last year, flocked to the exhibition from all over the globe. Once again, the Intersolar AWARD for Solar Projects in India was awarded in three categories: Off-grid Solutions, Industrial and Commercial Use, and Utility-scale Projects. Read more
