Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV, Madrid, Spain) has officially started constructing the 56 MWAC (70 MWp) Moree Solar Farm in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. FRV is receiving USD 101 million support from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) for the USD 164 million project. Once completed, the PV plant will be one of the largest solar farms in Australia and generate enough solar power to supply 15,000 average NSW homes.
