SolarWorld AG (Bonn, Germany) raised its group-wide shipments of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and kits in the third quarter of 2014 by 50 percent to 270 megawatt (Q3 2013: 180 MW). Compared with the prior quarter the group increased its shipments by almost 40 percent (Q2 2014: 193 MW). Overall, SolarWorld AG reached shipments of 602 MW in the first three quarters of 2014, an increase by 54 percent compared with the same period last year (Q1–Q3 2013: 390 MW).
