Isofotón SA (Málaga, Spain) reports a rise in orders for its solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, which it credits to the minimum price and volume limits on Chinese PV products set by the price undertaking agreement between the EU and China. The agreement was reached in early August 2013, as a way for Chinese PV manufacturers to avoid anti-dumping duties. PV Cycle Association (Brussels) has established a new legal entity in Germany, PV Cycle Deutschland GmbH (Munich). The operation will assist the German industry with compliance with EU directives for solar photovoltaic (PV) module recycling. PV Cycle has also introduced German Country Manager Andreas Hess, who will be responsible for business developments and compliance activities in Germany, as well as expanding the existing network of collection, transport and recycling partners.
