Yingli expands coverage of JET certification for Japanese PV market

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (Baoding, China) on July 11th, 2013 announced that the Company has expanded the coverage of the JET PV Certification to now include the majority of its multi- and monocrystalline solar photovoltaic (PV) modules for the Japanese solar market. Natcore shows first flexible inorganic solar PV cell made with LPD process

Scientists of Natcore Technology Inc. (Red Bank, New Jersey, US), in collaboration with researchers at Rice University have successfully fabricated the first inorganic flexible thin film solar cell by solution processes. Using Natcore’s patented liquid phase deposition (LPD) process, a cadmium/selenium (CdSe) absorber layer has been grown on a single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT)-derived back contact substrate.
