MNRE data shows wide range of performance for Indian solar PV plants

India's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has released May 2013 performance data for solar photovoltaic (PV) plants in the nation, finding capacity utilization factors (CUF) ranging from 11 – 31%. MNRE released data for plans commissioned under Phase 1, Batch 1 and Phase 1, Batch 2 of the India's National Solar Mission (NSM), as well as the Rooftop Photovoltaic and Small Solar Power Generation Programme (RPSSGP).
