Suntech Power Holdings Company Ltd. (Wuxi, China) has reached a new forbearance agreement with the holders of the majority of its 3% convertible notes which were due March 15th, 2013. Under the new agreement, bondholders agree not to exercise their rights under the notes until June 28th, 2013, as the second forbearance agreement reached on the notes. AEG experienced a 251% year-over-year increase in revenues in its Renewable Energy Solutions – Solar division, driven by the sale of 240 MW of inverters for nine solar photovoltaic (PV) plants in Eastern Europe. Conergy AG (Hamburg, Germany) has released financial results for the first quarter of 2013, reporting a 24% year-over-year increase in revenues to EUR 122 million (USD 157 million), but a -12% operating margin, and a net loss of EUR 17.8 million (USD 22.9 million). Conergy notes that its sales volume grew 83% year-over-year to 128 MW, with particularly strong performance in the Spanish market. With its recent re-alignment mostly complete, the company expects to reach its 2013 targets of EUR 700 – 800 million in sales with a slight positive EBITDA.
