Draker installs dual-language monitoring system for 705 kW PV plant in Japan

On April 4th, 2013 Draker (Burlington, Vermont, US) announced that it has completed the installation of its panel-to-grid (P2G) monitoring solution in Japan. The fully-integrated AC and Clarity DC system was deployed at the Ami Solar Park, a 705 kilowatt (kW) grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) site operating under the feed-in-tariff (FIT) scheme instituted last summer as part of Japan's renewable energy strategy, the company states. Solectria supplies inverters for 2.5 MW PV plant in New Mexico

On April 2nd, 2013, Solectria Renewables LLC (Lawrence, Massachusetts, US) announced that it will supply its inverters to Green States Energy for a 2.5 megawatt (MW) ground-mount solar photovoltaic (PV) system in Roswell, New Mexico. Bidders approved for 5.5 MW of rooftop PV plants in Indian cities

On April 2nd, 2013, Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) has released a list of successful bidders for the implementation of grid connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in selected cities/states in India. The list includes bidders for the cities of Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Gurgaon. Azure Power, Thermax and Sun Edison were successful bidders for all the cities combined. Read more

The Schindler Solar Elevator is a hybrid system designed to be supplied up to 100% by rooftop solar photovoltaic panels and a proprietary Hybrid Energy Manager (HEM) that stores the solar power in batteries until needed, the company states. NRG Solar secures loan for construction of a 5 MW PV plant in California

On April 2nd, 2013, NRG Solar LLC (Carlsbad, California, US) announced that it has secured a USD 19.2 million loan from the North American Development Bank (NADB) to construct a 5-megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) park in California. The PV plant, located at the San Diego State University (SDSU) Imperial Valley Campus in Brawley, California, will be equipped polycrystalline PV modules manufactured by Trina Solar mounted on ViaSol single-axis trackers. On April 2nd, 2013 Blue Oak Energy (Davis, California, US) announced the completion of a 4.2 megawatt (MW) utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Gridley, California. The Gridley facility, developed by LightBeam Energy Inc., is a ground-mounted solar electric system comprised of 17,584 solar panels manufactured by Trina Solar. Read more
