Upsolar PV modules get Italian's fire resistance certification

On April 17th, 2013, Upsolar (Shanghai, China) announced that its UP-MxxxP series solar photovoltaic (PV) modules have received certification in accordance with Italian standard UNI 9177: Reaction to Fire Class 1. UNI 9177 standards, guaranteed by the Fire Prevention Laboratory Spa (LAPI) of Italy, ensure that installed modules are equipped to prevent the spread of fire, the company states. Read more
