Performance of Indian PV plants falls slightly in October 2013
Monday, 11.25.2013 - 8:55 (Solarserver)
India's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has released figures on the productivity of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants in October 2013, showing a slight decline from September 2013. Capacity utilization factors (CUFs) were generally in the 18–24% range for utility-scale PV plants commissioned under Phase 1 Batch 1 and Phase 1 Batch 2 of the National Solar Mission (NSM). However, rooftop and other smaller plants reported only 11–20% CUFs, and there were more plants in all categories that fell below these ranges.
