Google, KKR invest in 106 MW of Recurrent Energy solar PV projects

Google Inc. (Mountain View, California, U.S.) and KKR & Co. L.P. (New York City) have announced that they will provide equity investments for six solar photovoltaic (PV) projects totaling 106 MW under development by Recurrent Energy Inc. (San Francisco, California, U.S.). Five of the projects are located in California, with the sixth in the U.S. state of Arizona. Electricity generated by the six projects will be sold to local utilities and municipalities under power purchase agreements (PPAs), and Recurrent expects to complete the six projects by January 2014.
