Black & Veatch partners with Brightergy to develop PV rooftop systems across the U.S.

Black & Veatch (Overland Park, KS, U.S.) and Brightergy (Kansas City, MO, USA) started a partnership to develop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects totalling USD 100 million over the next three years. The alliance includes Black & Veatch installations of commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) rooftop systems in the Kansas City Metro area, and will extend its reach into other parts of the United States to address the growing demand for renewable energy, the partners note. PV in Paraguay: meeco to introduce German CIS modules in the off-grid market

In October, meeco Group’s subsidiary meeco América Latina S.A. (Asunción, Paraguay) will offcially introduce CIS (copper indium gallium diselenide) solar photovoltaic (PV) modules made in Germany in the Paraguayan market. Meeco América Latina is aiming to sell 150 Kilowatt (kW) of CIS modules as part of solar off-grid systems until the end of the year. Read more

Japan installs 3.67 GW of solar PV in first year of feed-in tariff
