Enphase awards USD 25,000 PV system to the winner of Mahalo Hawaii video contest

Enphase Energy, Inc. (Petaluma, CA, U.S.) on October 15th, 2013, announced, the La‘a Kea Foundation on Maui (Hawaii, U.S.), will receive a USD 25,000 solar photovoltaic (PV) system as the winner of the company’s Mahalo Hawaii video contest. The competition celebrates nearing Enphase’s 25,000th system installation in Hawaii. La‘a Kea is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing work opportunities and residential options for adults with autism and intellectual disabilities on its 12-acre organic farm in Upper Paia on the slopes of Haleakala. New Mexico: Rio Rancho public schools unveils 2,4 MW solar PV arrays

Rio Rancho Public Schools, a school district based in Rio Rancho, NM, USA, will unveil its 2,357-kilowatt (kw) solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays in a recognition ceremony with representatives from Washington Gas Energy Systems, Inc. (McLean, VA, U.S.), AMSOLAR (Meppen, Germany), Conergy AG (Hamburg, Germany) and the local community. The school system has recently completed two ground-mounted solar PV arrays at Cleveland and Rio Rancho High Schools, each with a generation capacity of approximately 1,200-kilowatts, comprising more than 4,000 PV panels.
