Solon Corporation hires Jared Schoch to lead PV Power Plants business

Solon Corporation (Tucson, Arizona, U.S.) has hired Jared Schoch as VP and General Manager of its Power Plants business, where he will oversee the company's commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) plants as well as focus on expanding Solon's power plant business in the Americas. Schoch came to Solon after serving for four and a half years in SunEdison LLC (Beltsville, Maryland, U.S.) commercial and utility-scale solar development business. Vivint Solar joins SEIA

Vivint Solar Inc. (Provo, Utah, U.S.) has joined the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA, Washington D.C., U.S.) as a member company on the board of directors. The company states that as a SEIA member, it will advocate for solar energy by helping to shape federal policy, and will strengthen the industry by collaborating on ways to remove market barriers at the state level.
