Solaria and ENARSA to develop 50 MW of PV projects in Argentina

Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente S.A. (Madrid, Spain), a solar energy company present along the PV value chain, from solar photovoltaic (PV) modules manufacturing to power generation, has signed a collaboration agreement to develop PV projects in Argentina with the local company ENARSA (Energía Argentina S.A., Buenos Aires). The agreement establishes the basis for cooperation to develop a portfolio of photovoltaic projects up to 50 MW, where Solaria will provide all aspects with regards to electrical design, technology, engineering and project management works. Wind Industry Losing Jobs But Planning for Big Growth in the U.S.

His comments came on the same day that Spanish wind-turbine manufacturer Gamesa announced that it planned to furlough about 165 employees at two of its manufacturing facilities in Pennsylvania in response to weak demand for turbines.
