Yingli to supply 376 kW of PV modules for stadium in Brazil

On May 9th, 2012, Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. (Baoding, China) announced that it will supply solar photovoltaic (PV) modules totaling 376 kilowatts (kW) for a PV array at Brazilian football stadium. Yingli has teamed up with Light ESCO, EDF Consultoria and the State of Rio de Janeiro to install the PV plant at Estadio do Maracana football stadium, which will be the host facility for the 2014 FIFA World Cup final game.
