Optomec opens new aerosol jet advanced applications lab and product development facility in Minnesota

On January 18th, 2012, Optomec Inc. (Albuquerque, New Mexico, US) announced that it opened its new expanded Advanced Applications Lab and Product Development Facility in St. Paul, Minn. Schneider Electric, Carbon Disclosure Project awarded Zayed Future Energy Prize

On January 18th, 2012 Masdar (Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.) announced five winners of the Masdar Future Energy Prize at the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi. The top prize was awarded to Schneider Electric SA (Rueil-Malmaison, France), the Carbon Disclosure Project (London, U.K.) and Dr. Ashok Gadgil. The two runner-ups in the SME and NGO category are Orb Energy Private Ltd. (Bangalore, India) and the Environmental Defense Fund (Washington D.C., U.S.). On January 18th, 2012, Nissan North America Inc. (Franklin, Tennessee, US) announced that it teamed up with ABB, 4R Energy (Yokohama, Japan) and Sumitomo Corp. of America (New York City, New York, US) to evaluate the reuse of lithium-ion battery packs that power the Nissan LEAF, an all-electric car designed for the mass market.
