Solar Frontier to supply CIS PV modules for Showa Shell Sekiyu service stations

Solar Frontier K.K. and Showa Shell Sekiyu K.K. on June 16th, 2011 jointly announced that 1 MW of Solar Frontier CIS thin-film solar panels will be installed at Showa Shell service stations in areas grid-supplied by electric service providers Tokyo Electric Power Company and Tohoku Electric Power Company. With possible power shortages expected across these regions this summer, installations will commence June and cover 200 of the 400 service stations by September. Read more

Etrion signs 10 MW agreement with Yingli Green Energy on PV modules for Italian "Helios ITA-3" solar project

Etrion Corporation (Geneva, Switzerland), an independent solar power producer, on June 16th, 2011 announced an agreement whereby Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (Baoding, China), one of the world?s largest vertically integrated photovoltaic (PV) manufacturers, will supply solar modules for Etrion?s 10 MW Helios ITA-3 solar project under construction in Puglia, Italy. Bentek Solar to supply Borrego Solar with 25 MW of PV BOS products

On June 15th, 2011, Bentek Solar Corporation (San Jose, California, U.S.) has announced that it will supply Borrego Solar Systems Inc. (El Cajon, California, U.S.) with a range of disconnecting combiners, re-combiners and disconnect safety systems for use on commercial and utility scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The products will support a total of 25 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants. The disconnecting combiners, re-combiners and disconnect safety systems will be shipped over the next 12 months, beginning immediately. Read more
