aleo solar reports solid 2010 year with ?553 million revenue and double solar module production

aleo solar has released its 2010 annual report demonstrating a strong year for the company, which posted revenue of ?553.5 million, a 47.2% increase over 2009?s ?376.1 million revenue. Additionally, as all of the company?s plants were operating at full capacity, aleo solar nearly doubled its solar module production from 139MW to 267MW leading the company to hypothesize that it will fulfill its projected production capacity growth of 250MW to 390MW by the end of this year. ClearSky Advisors (Toronto, Canada) has released a report which predicts that the Ontario solar photovoltaic (PV) market will grow almost 270% in 2011 to reach 455MW and become the largest regional market in North America. This projection is a downgrade of more than 200MW from a September 2010 forecast, as the company states that a lack of clarity in a government approval process has forced developers of utility scale projects to delay construction. Aleo solar (Oldenburg/Prenzlau) announced that it retained its strong position and tripled the number of modules delivered in the Greek market in 2010. The German manufacturer intends to achieve the same growth rate in Greece in the current year as well. Delivery of a total of 20 megawatts has already been assured through framework agreements.
