Sunday, 10.2.2011 - 21:57 (Solarserver)
Worldwide PV cell production capacities have ramped?up significantly in Asia in the previous years. Whether silicon based PV or thin film, cell production in both segments has increased tremendously in Asian countries particularly in China, Taiwan and Japan. Especially Taiwan has experienced rapid growth, reports the market research company EuPD Research (Bonn, Germany). Whilst the sales market holds no great potential for downstream PV players because installations are limited to 70 MW in 2011 for example, upstream players are showing tremendous growth rates. One of the main reasons is the entry of multinational electronic companies in the PV market with large production Read moreBakersfield, Fresno enter top five California cities for PV adoption; more homeowners choose lease options
