NuGen and KDC Solar to develop solar projects in New Jersey through new joint venture

NuGen Capital Management and KDC Solar have come together for the formation of a joint venture, which will aim to develop, construct, own and operate commercial-scale behind-the-meter PV solar installations in New Jersey. The projects will range in size from 1MW to 10MW, with the first project being installed on White Rose Food?s distribution warehouse in Carteret, New Jersey. DelSolar has signed a supply contract with an undisclosed North American PV market provider, in which DelSolar will supply solar modules worth around 22MW of generating capacity in 2011 to its customer. The price of the supply contract was not disclosed, but DelSolar did note that in the signed contract supply terms for product quantities and prices were accounted for.
