BaySolar AG, a subsidiary of the Bay Energy Group, acts... as a holding company within this group of companies for the involvement of the Bay Energy Group on the European solar markets. BaySolar focuses here on two segments of solar power which are particularly promising for the future:

Turnkey solutions for major open-air and roof-top photovoltaic systems. BaySolar covers all activities here: development, financing, EPC (engineering, procurement, construction), O&M (operation & maintenance) and transfer.
Development and production of key components for CSP power plants (concentrated solar power). In this section, BaySolar combines German development knowledge with Chinese production efficiency. The results are innovative top-quality solutions with an outstanding price-performance ratio.
BaySolar was founded in 2010 and has its headquarters in Munich. Among other countries, the company works in Germany, Italy, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, China and the USA. In May 2011, Bay Energy Group Co., Ltd. was founded.

To ensure our products are realised successfully and rapidly, we combine the knowledge and strategic management of the Bay Energy Group and BaySolar with the expertise of experienced local partners. We now have more than ten specifically founded subsidiaries to ensure that we are ideally placed on each relevant market.

In 2012, BaySolar generated a turnover of 200 million EUR.
