The tala solar "standard system" consists of the following components

A lighting unit, equipped with high efficiency LEDs fitted into tala rail. tala rail is specifically designed for our off-grid systems. The result is maximum light output with minimum energy requirements. The excellent lighting results are achieved through a combination of LED technology and a low-power control circuit, which guarantees reliable and consistent lighting during any power fluctuations which occur from the battery. The lighting unit is equipped with 6 LEDs in an innovative aluminium case. tala rail has a protection rating of IP68.

Photovoltaic module, 50 Wp, dimensions 84.5cm x 54.5cm, weight 7kg.

12V deep cycle solar battery with efficient power consumption which can be connected directly to the regulator. The battery capacity is 33 Ah, i.e. an illumination time of 5 hours per day is guaranteed with a self-sufficiency of 3 days. The battery is maintenance free.

A compact charge controller protects the battery and makes sure that it is not overloaded. The built-in discharge protection ensures that a minimum value of the battery charge is not exceeded so that no discharge takes place. Due to the robust sealed aluminum housing, an IP68 degree of protection is guaranteed. The programming of the controller is easily performed via an infra-red remote-control. The charge controller has a timer function for intelligent lighting control and automatic voltage detection. .

Flexible photovoltaic module holder for mounting on a 2-3 inch pipe. The tilt angle is also adjustable.
Metal case for housing the battery and wiring.
